Over 28 years ago Margaret met Richard The double act was born and he sold his Marcos Many who met them said it would'nt last But they didnt know they shared the same heart Some years later they were blessed with a son Richard thought they would play football, watch Grand prix and have fun However Alan was not the sporty type Instead was destined to have his name in lights Watching him his Father would swell with pride And he would never miss a performance come rain or shine Richard was his greatest fan and his biggest critic But when Alan was mentioned his eyes would sparkle like electric And anyone who went with him to watch his son perform will always remember who gave the biggest roar His other great love was watching Motor Racing And nothing would stop him from following his passion And nexxt time we see Mika & David We will raise a glass knowing he's with us watching And if he could have a last wish at all I'm sure it would be to see Schuey in the tyre wall! Then there's his life with Margaret his wife He would raise his eyebrows as if she caused him such strife But those that knew them knew it was just how they were And their love was so strong it went way beyond words Finally of course Richard would like a good Port And whenever we drink it will give him this thought "A wonderful man, a pleasure to know, a one-off, a character we are so sad you had to go" But you will always be with us in our thoughts and our hearts And we will know you are out there if the race goes to Coulthard!!!!!!
